  • 3 pieces potatoes, diced Yukon Gold recommended for creaminess.
  • 1 can diced tomatoes Heinz brand suggested for flavor.
  • 3 cups beef broth Use low-sodium if watching salt intake.
  • 1 tsp dried oregano A family favorite seasoning.
  • 1 tsp salt Sea salt preferred.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper For a light kick.
  • 1 splash Worcestershire sauce Optional for extra depth.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and add the ground beef.
  2. Brown the beef, being careful not to overcrowd the pan to avoid steaming.
  3. Once browned, add diced onions and garlic, stirring until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced carrots and diced potatoes, mixing well.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for about 45 minutes.
