Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 pieces ripe mangoes, peeled and diced Ataulfo mangoes are preferred for their creaminess.
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved Local strawberries are best for flavor.
Syrup Mixture
  • 1/2 cup sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice Freshly squeezed for best taste.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling and dicing your mangoes and hulling the strawberries.
Blending
  1. Add the diced mangoes to your blender along with the sugar and lime juice and blend until smooth.
  2. Once the mangoes are pureed, add in the strawberries and a pinch of salt, then pulse until combined.
Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze it for about 3-4 hours, stirring every hour.
Serving
  1. Serve the sorbet in bowls with fresh mint leaves on top and enjoy!

Notes
