Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 package pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices you can never have too much pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese use any brand on sale
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning dried or fresh herbs may be used
  • 1 large egg beaten, for egg wash
Optional
  • to taste marinara sauce for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Use a round cutter or a glass to cut out 3-4 inch circles of dough.
  4. Place a slice of pepperoni and a sprinkle of cheese on each circle. Sprinkle a bit of Italian seasoning on top.
  5. Carefully fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
Baking
  1. Place the pizza bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Brush them with the beaten egg and sprinkle a bit of salt on top before baking for 12-15 minutes.
