Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract afterward.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. In a separate bowl, blend the cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Fold the salted caramel sauce into the cream cheese mixture.
Baking
  1. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden and firm around the edges.
