- Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to let the semolina plump up.
Cooking
- In a non-stick frying pan, heat about half an inch of oil over medium heat.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the batter and gently drop it into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
- Fry the fritters until they are golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Once golden, remove the fritters from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
