  • 1 large head broccoli, chopped into florets Organic is best, but regular works fine.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin is preferred for flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons sweet chili sauce Lee Kum Kee brand recommended for rich flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Add even if using fresh garlic for layered flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential seasoning for any dish.
  • optional sesame seeds for garnish Makes the dish look fancy.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chopped broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Pour in the sweet chili sauce and toss until each floret is coated.
  4. Spread the broccoli mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crisp.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
